Getting there and routing the pilgrimage
Chofu (Tokyo): from Shinjuku, the Keio Line express reaches Chofu Station in about 15 minutes — a half-day add-on to any Tokyo itinerary (the source data marks it dayTripFromTokyo: true). From the station, walk the Tenjin shopping street to cover the tea house, park and plaza.
